Lighting of the Park

Thank you to everyone who made the 2008 event a huge success, with more than 100 people attending! View 2008 Lighting of the Park photos.

Come join us Saturday, December 6, 2008 for activities culminated by the annual community lighting ceremony of Woodbury Park in St. Francis. 

This year's activities included:

  • Free Hayrides! 1:00-3:00 p.m. at St. Francis City Centre Mall (County Market.)
  • Madrigal Singers 4:00 p.m. at Woodbury Park. Christmas carols sung by the St. Francis High School Madrigal Singers.
  • Refreshments 4:00 p.m. at Woodbury Park. Free hot chocolate and cookies served by the Miss St. Francis Ambassadors.
  • Santa and Mrs. Claus 4:30 p.m. at Woodbury Park. Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive on a fire truck.
  • Lighting of the Park Approximately 5:00 p.m. or dusk watch Woodbury Park light up for the holidays.
